Is starting to be a pain in the ass when every damn manga takes the B in LGBT as, i don't know, I'll say BLIND 'cause bisexual people are invisible to them or something.
Every time a het guy on these type of mangas falls in love with another man says something in the line of " well I like women but I just fell in love with you 'cause you know it's you" what kind of bullshit is that? you can be new on the collective and be discovering yourself, but i think things like knowing what stands on each letter of LGBT is basic common knowledge, and it kinda gives the feel of hollowness on a character when he doesn't try to understand what's going on in his own mind and just goes with the flow 'cause it doesn't feel wrong to him.
Yet again, this is just a typical cliche BL manga for a sweet time reading, so I'll probably shouldn't be calling the shots here, my bad
I totally get where you're coming from, and I think it's important to keep in mind that these mangas are made in Japan, where the culture is very different. LGBT still isn't widely accepted, and I'm pretty sure it isn't "basic common knowledge" for them because it's very shameful to like someone of the same gender there. I'm not saying I support that part of their culture, but the media of a culture will only reflect the culture itself, so if you want more acknowledgement of LGBT things, you won't find it in a form of media written by someone from a homophobic and predominantly ignorant about LGBT culture.
I choked when FL said that her friend looked like she was quarantined for months
Wow it's quite different. I can't quite picture the image of people actually following the orders of the government here, so sometimes I just want to slap the faces of the irresponsible people who are endangering the rest without reason (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸.
Well, here the lockdown is decreasing progressively in phases depending how many cases has each city and province; I live in the capital so we are the last ones to advance to the next phase haha

I don’t know how people are not talking about the many MANY plot holes this series has. Like at some point the author decided to do a 180 and change the politics driven plot to a much more fantasy and magic one.
Nah, ya aren't wrong mate. The plot did start going downhill the moment we learn the gods were actively fucking with things, and it took a nosedive after they met with elves in the temple lol
I kept reading because it was still entertaining enough and the comedic bits were still good, but it completely lost the political and mystery vibes it had going for it at the start.
The solution to some of the mysteries (the deal with the book, the omen about dragons) was underwhelming, and it completely threw away some of the lay work it had going for political intrigue when it turned out everyone not allied with the leads was possessed by an evil god, I guess lol Even the one thing it focused on (the entire conflict between the gods) was underwhelming as fuck. You can't just use the "Victors are the ones who write History" line and then decide to still make the apparently "evil" god be actually Evil. lmao It's funny that the protagonist was super pissed at the gods, both of them, but she still made it so one of them walked away a winner a second time. I also love it when it introduces some actual issue to for the leads (the fact the protagonist's soul can't stay) and they manage to solve it in under 5 minutes with some nonsense that somehow works.
Anyway, rant aside, it had some funny and cute moments, mostly a light-hearted story with little to zero drama, so I guess it's a fine read for someone looking for exactly that.
I couldn’t agree more hahah. Also the bits about the brothers anyone would tell the author planned to do a lot more with them but then started with all the shit about the gods and decided to just kill them fast.
It does feel like the author had something else entirely planned during the 1st season, since most resolutions and reveals felt nonsensical, underwhelming or literally outta nowhere and contradictory.
Since I feel like ranting some more, here are some few plot holes/nonsensical threads that I can remember and bugged me the most.
Mallory is one of my biggest gripes, so I'll start with it: How tf Mallory knew so much about shit (including dragons, when he gives the MC tips on how to deal with crystal ants) when it turns out bro was just some weaksauce 3rd rate side villain who couldn't even figure out another literal dragon was glued to the MC's hip? How tf did he know a dragon was going to be an issue for the ML in the future? Why did Mallory even go the extra mile to summon a soul from another world when he was just going to shove it off to take control of the body himself, therefore making the whole cheat of defying fate null, since the transmigrator had to be the one taking action?
How and why did the original FL enter MC's dreams when she took an arrow for the ML when it turned out another transmigrator had already taken over her body (Also, didn't the novel already establish that transmigrators could only take over bodies with weak souls/minds/whatever, like, specifically tailored vessels?), and if that scene meant nothing, why even bother storyboarding it? This world has people who can turn into fucking animals, are they a different race (One is clearly an elf, but we see no other elves turning), how does that work for the setting, and why bother adding it if you won't do anything with it? No, really, there was an auction for what I assume was selling off those people, and it went nowhere lol
Why raise up such a stink over the MC staying in that world when we know for a fact the original transmigrator (the founding Emperor, the one who won Kemesis or whatever the war) stayed in that world long enough to have descendants to secure the future of the Empire? Why is everyone making such a big deal out of MC's son being the spawn of a transmigrator when it should already be the case for the *entire fucking royal family of that country*?
Also, personal opinion, but doing away with the fairy tale-esque narration for the book and replacing it with a fucking system, the one we have already seen in other 1000000 isekai stories, was a huge miss. I thought the way they did the "transmigrator helper" in this story was super creative, but of course it had to be replaced by your run-of-the-mill modern looking system with popups -- at least they had mercy and spared me the stat screen. Guess Microsoft just got a monopoly on that niche.
It felt more like the author experimented multiple elements for this.
It felt like the author was using a bingo card and just adds whatever.
It felt like the author has lost the plot
