Thank you, bs like 'just leave' is a toxic mindset, you have to face the problem, don't sweep it under the rug every damn time.

It's a fictional story lol also what does you commenting negativity do? Does the author stop creating? No. So what exactly is the point?

Sister, the most negative thing here is rape in the story. Commenting on it isn’t negative. Also comments and ratings do matter, if response is positive, the. Authors will continue to make this slop. Ofc it’s more important for that response to be on the legitimate sites, but it helps as well if it’s here, since a lot of people read on here then talk about the story on social media.

I think reminding them that this is messed up makes people who enjoy those stories feel bad, that’s why they leave comments complaining about the criticism lmao.

Authors do not care about the opinions of people that arent paying for their work what are you talking about. These most popular stories on official websites are darker stories with taboo subject matter. That's why they will continue to be made if that wasnt the case there wouldnt be so many. Go on lmao

Also people who enjoy these stories know fiction and reality are two separate things you arent making anyone feel bad. I find it annoying because when I go to look at comments discussing what is happening in the story its filled with comments like yours that add nothing of interest to the conversation.

Authors may not care immediately, but opinions have impacts broski. It's a chain effect. The opinions of others will influence the overall image of the work, therefore depleting the amount of revenue authors will receive because their audience is drawing away. Even if we comment here on an illegal website, it doesn't necessarily diminish the effect. And the only reason 'taboo' manhwas are popular is because dense people like you are so driven by this false ideology that fiction and reality are different things. If that was the case, you wouldn't be reacting so emotionally about people hating on disgusting shit that you enjoy because you lack media literacy. You're not even CAPABLE of recognizing the emotional effect it's having on you, and for you to believe that just because something is popular, it's justifiable for it to exist.

You’re overestimating how much random comment sections actually impact authors, especially on unofficial sites. What affects them is engagement and sales on official platforms and those numbers already show people actively choose darker/taboo stories. That’s not a “chain effect,” that’s demand.

This idea that consuming dark fiction reflects someone’s real-life morals or behavior isn’t backed up the way you’re claiming. A lot of research in media psychology shows that people can separate fiction from reality. If that weren’t the case, entire genres like horror and crime wouldn’t be as mainstream as they are. People engage with extreme content in a fictional context it doesn’t mean they support it in real life.

There aren’t really any strong, reputable sources backing your side the way you’re presenting it. Most credible research doesn’t claim that consuming fictional taboo content directly leads to harmful real-world behavior. The argument you’re making is more of a moral stance than something consistently supported by evidence.

And yeah, it gets annoying when every comment section turns into the sam6e moral debate instead of actually discussing the plot, characters, or what’s happening in the story.

    Elyk April 13, 2026 5:04 pm
    Common sense btw roro

misinterpreting fiction as a direct reflection of real-world endorsement is actually a basic misunderstanding of how media works. So calling everyone else “dense” while doing that yourself doesn’t really land it kind of shows the opposite of what you’re trying to prove
