i died when translated chapters stopped coming out in january after a Certain Site closed, i can't believe it's back
ohh i'm so glad someone picked this up. everyone should check out the original version on 快看, some chapters are animated and voiced it's srsly so good. (also it was released last year, not 2022 like it says here)
i wish it was longer but i still enjoyed it, their relationship was so sweet. chapter 64 is the end of the main story, the rest is a side story - one final chapter is missing here. for those who wanna know what happened: duan jinghong calls for backup and they manage to escape. they choose to live in seclusion in the mountains. duan jinghong's senior brother pays him a visit. he updates him on some stuff, tells him his talent may be used for great achievements and asks if he's rly willing to live in seclusion. he also says he missed their wedding banquet but still has to give a congratulatory gift. then shen tinglan appears and when they're alone he also asks duan jinghong if he's content with secluded life and if he's not bored. duan jinghong reassures him and pulls him into bed, saying he needs to entertain him and he won't be bored. they kiss. shen tinglan confesses that except for the jujube cake he bought that day, he also bought some trinkets that will keep duan jinghong entertained. one of them says "let's try them one by one". the end.
