I honestly have no idea why bl manhwas are having this weird trope . All bl manhwas are ending up with forced s*x or like cheating but not cheating trope . I don’t understand the appeal behind that . I mean even here the brother did not have to necessarily sleep with the mc but somehow mc getting taken advantage of getting such a popular trend . I am getting tired of such manhwas . If anyone has any recommendations of any green flag and happy manhwas please do tell
I'm pretty sure it's because of the purity culture in Korea that lots of Korean women like the trope of being taken advantage of and raped because they're having sex (which is desirable for the reader) but they also aren't looking for sex (which is desirable for the Korean reader because they live in a purity culture). I don't mean to say it's okay, but I think that's the psychology behind it being so popular
