This really charmed me! I love the setting of a girls' school, it really feels like the boarding school children's books. The conflicts were believable and realistic especially Rosa with her parents. Rosa and Steph along with the cast felt like really strong, unique characters in general. I was also pleasantly surprised by how Liz's grooming by her tutor was treated. My only complaint is that it's very ambiguously 'yuri' despite being labelled as Girl's Love.

For a manga based around sex I was very charmed by the genuine chemistry around the leads sexually but also romantically(?). To see their relationship develop over the chapters has been a genuine pleasure. It was great in Volumes 1 + 2 when it was much more comedic. Even though it does try to comment on the issue of class, I found it still managed to favour the noblity/upper-class despite having some sympathy for the proletariat. But there are still a lot of good things about this manga! Claire and Rae are both lovely and their relationship development progresses naturally. Claire being loved so wholeheartedly for her pride and haughtiness was very sweet. Tackles LGBTQ issues well.

So ridiculously cute, both the leads are very charming and have good chemistry. Harumi being the working woman and getting to be taken care of after being parentified at home just feels right. Maybe the plot just wasn't for me, but I found it really difficult to get invested in the story at all and both times I've tried to read it through to the end I just couldn't. I skimmed the last few chapters and it also seemed that the ML stopped crossdressing. While I appreciated that the FL got to keep her hair short (for a woman) I thought her getting more feminine was boring and ultimately they regressed into heteronormative roles.

A nice read! I admire how this work doesn't shy away from him being gay in his previous life. I get the impression that he was truly considerate in the past, which is a nice change of pace from MCs who are either boring or insufferable! Nor does it try to slim down his past life's design. I also like how it pokes fun at the anachronism of its own work- the extra detail paid to historical accuracy in that sense makes it fun to read. I just wish the plot meandered less.

This felt like it was written by an author who is completely and totally aware of the injustices women face from men. One of the best to ever do it. The premise hooked me so much that it was the only manga I've ever paid per chapter for. This is role reversal at its peak. Leticia is actually the dominant one beyond simply 'taking the lead', she has power both in terms of status and magical ability, and her love of (playfully) tormenting and spoiling Gilbert is what makes the story so amazing. I'm really into the FL's looks and I like all the different sides to her. I don't enjoy how the ML was acting at the start because insecurity over not being the 'man' in a RR story is always annoying, but he shapes up and genuinely wants to treat her well. There is an incredibly random side couple between the FL's friend and the ML's younger sister with a ... 10 year age gap... but so far it doesn't seem to have that much of an impact on the story so I'm fine ignoring it.
