If you’ve ever watched that Japanese show called “old enough” then this chapter was exactly like that show. Cute kiddos going on errands without their parents for the first time. Sometimes tears are involved, sometimes these kiddos are fearless and calm, some are forgetful which makes for cute and funny watching. This chapter literally had all of this. Adorable!!!
Telling your brother who is a lying manipulative rapist that you wish him…….happiness?!
What in the entire fck was that horse sh!t of a line did I just read?…..why include that whole incest rape trauma plot in the story and then have this false powerful moment just to depict it as such a let down? He should've told his dad F U and told him he was an abusive pos who raised an incestuous rapist of a son. Then he should’ve kicked his brother square in sick disgusting face then stomped on his 5 inch d!ck a few times - not wished him a happily ever after! Smmfh
I think, when you just want to move on and release yourself completely from those people who brought you harm and hardships in life. Wishing them all the best and leaving up to fate their karma is truly what will set you free.
I mean, I was that kind of person who harbor and cling to anger but when you just want to free yourself from them and completely take them away from your mind then you’ll just get to the point that “it’s ok, I just wish them happiness and let fate decide what Karma to throw at them.” That’s when I finally had my peace of mind after so many years. And I couldn’t be any happier than I am now.
Victims of sexual violence and family abuse arent just “harboring and clinging to anger” its deeper than that. Wishing them “all the best” is outdated therapy of passiveness but to each is own. You can on through life not being miserable, not being trapped in constant pain, not thinking about your abuser while still not feeling the hope of anything good for them and STILL wake up everyday just fine and move on from relationships or interactions with those people. Abuse, bullying, rape etc have lasting repercussion's of trauma on the brain that can trigger randomly/surprisingly and affect how you interact with the world. Trauma such as what is depicted in this story almost never truly “free’s” it victim forever, they have to live with that. So why should a person(s) who has intentionally, cruelly, and repeatedly inflicted horrible abuse or assault on someone deserve the wish of happiness? …. The “leave it up to Karma approach is a gamble, alot of bad people get no punishment no bad luck no karma nothing but the freedom to harm again and in korea where this story takes place this is very common. You dont have to wish some evil people who intentionally harmed you happiness, or peace and thats OKAY.
These 2 are skilled enough to have not fumbled this so badly by GETTING so EASILY DISTRACTED. I mean one is literally a trained investigator And our wolf is way better than what we just saw. It felt random and doesn't match their skill level to see them screw the mission up so badly. This was giving bad writing. But the story is so good I have faith they can recover from this bad plot move.
I hate how in these stories the mom’s never stand up for their kids. They just stand behind AND with the husbands while they assault them, kick them out the house, and ostracize them. How do you as a mother let anybody treat your baby like that smh. The brother gets the side eye too! He seemed to accept Todou but barely talked to him but twice a year?! Why?
This is not just a “past generation” issue its a “current generation” issue still. I dont know you or your family so i have no reply on the personal aspect of your comment, im talking about the manga and in general. A grownass woman who can formulate her own opinions and emotions IS capable of PROTECTING her child as she SHOULD against anybody, CHOOSING not to when you live in a developed country that does give women rights (tho they still need further updating) such as Japan makes that possible. The mother here and ones like her with the privilege of living in such a country where women have basic rights and social programs are wrong for acting like this. It’s her choice - she could do better but is CHOOSING to be passive, she’s accountable for that.
This is that expression “If you wont fuck your man, then someone else will” in manga form. Im not normally into to cheating stories but this one is interesting, among other things. It’s crazy how the wife is content to be in a sexless marriage without so much as a conversation addressing it. If the relationship didn't start out that way then you owe him a talk as his partner, like come on. They seem like roommates more than a married couple so far, no affection to be seen anywhere. And I wish Naoto would've stopped being a wuss for a second and actually spoke up to the wife about this issue before getting sex outside of his marriage since he seems conflicted about it. Cheating isn't ok without an agreement. Im happy that this isn't the typical “happy couple - healthy relationship then one decides to randomly cheat” plot common in the cheating trope mangas. Sexy Bara Smut aside we have 2 unsatisfied men in marriages where the women seem to be oblivious to their men’s discontent and as usual communication is non existent.

The BEST THING ABOUT THIS STORY IS THE GRANDPA by far he was LOVELY. Attemped SA by seme to uke in early chapters makes no sense. The seme is a GOOD, KIND guy so to have him so pushy in the beginning AND then so patient - especially with his personality and background made no sense. The uke is kinda stupid. Willingly follows an ex with stalker tendencies like an idiot twice. Some of the panels werent drawn the best imo, they looked stiff and oddly unnatural in position in particular the bathroom jack off scene. Weird creepy smiles on the seme that made him seem like a creep tho he wasnt And the uke had the weirdest thought in one panel after the seme was assaulted by his toxic, harassing extortionist of a mom who comes to his job demanding money and threatens him using her current boyfriend then later cuts his face because she hates the sight of him while being verbally abusive and blaming him for all her problems in life tho he was adopted as a small child and she didnt raise him past the age of 5 and the uke says, “he’s so strong he doesn't run away from his parents like I do”. Um what? The man u love keeps going back to his abusive, harassing, extortionist of a mother like a glutton for punishment and you think thats strong? Reallllly?! I guess, Decent enough art I suppose
