Okay so, the major surprise is that the mc ends up with both Amon and Gwen , and if you're worried about Nine still being trapped by Amon, he eventually gets free and decides to still love Amon, though in my opinion, Gwen is his biggest love. Mayor plotwist is that Amon is an ancient dragon and actually built their civilization to protect/trap Nine , who's much much older than he looks being some centuries old and is not longer human but after being eaten by Amon , became inmortal . Luckily the priest suffers a terrible end ; he wanted Nine because he thought that If he drank his blood, he would be inmortal too, but because Nine,'s body is derived from a dragon, he didn't become inmortal and when drinking his blood, melted all his insides , while Amon kept him life to suffer and burb constantly.
