If you're here for plot, you're probably going to get bored very quickly. It's a normal slow burn by classic standards, but very slow by modern standards. If you enjoy a story that dives deep into emotional set-up and payoff, it'll take you to all kinds of places. It sets up a million questions, and drip feeds you answers between scenes that are driven by development. This is for the readers who genuinely love a slow burn, and can read between the lines of stories that aren't as plot-driven. I find it far from boring.
