Day one of Soleum’s journey to becoming tatted up and addicted to tattoos…
It’s a bit of a spoiler!! But not a super severe one, so if you are bothered then turn your eyes away!!
Anyways, the blue mascot is a dragon, obviously, and gave the tattoo to Soleum to mark him as ‘family/kin’ for being a good boy. Dragons are higher life forms I guess, so being marked as their kin grants you respect in the ghost world and special privileges (access to areas, purchases,etc).. that’s all it does lol.
Omg, when is this manhwa going to come to an end??? I feel like they’ve been fucking, getting into arguments, separating, and then fucking again for the longest time!! I hope to see something new in the future; chani can only be rude and sexually aggressive so many times before you leave or give in completely… ヽ(`Д´)ノ
I only read it for the playboy bunny outfit sex (chp 12) and the art. Even from only reading up to chp 4 and skimming through the rest, i can already tell what kinda people MC/ML are and it’s not very interesting or appealing.
Author should've made a fluffy romance for their first try or nothing at all if they were gonna follow the basic soft forgiving mc x trashy cold ml trend. “You’re just faking/ playing hard to get stop lying” in that tone is not very sexy talk and comes makes ML come off as even more of a ist. Idk if it was an attempt at a tsundere mc x teasing ml but it fell flat off the mark and came off as weird and forceful.
Anyways, love the art and character designs, very hot % the sex is not so bad either; doesn’t feel robotic and fake as they sometimes do. I’d prob read this to fulfill my dirty asexual thoughts; nothing more. ( ̄へ ̄)
Man.. I feel like dohun/ML could have been normal or at least pretend to be if everyone around him wasn’t batshit crazy ‘lost a lot of marbles’ kinda people. Because unlike everyone else, I feel like his general apathy towards people and ability to adapt is what keeps him grounded and able to get a good sense of the people around him.
If his dad never taught him those terrible life lessons he learned (as another child with low empathy) and if the man he was obsessed with wasn’t full on schizophrenic and ignorant to the abuse around him, he could have been normal; just a real apathetic fellow.
Just seems unfair to pin how he turned out on Yuwon. Dohun already shown signs of having apathy at the playground. The biggest factor in why he is the way he is now, I believe lie way before he even met Yuwon. I thought it was bc of his mothers neglect and her abandoning him? From the moment they met he already had a twisted outlook on happiness but makes a wish for Yuwon’s unhappiness to be his. Yuwon in all this was just a random unsuspecting kid who acted before thinking and was forced to play a part in Dohun’s story.
As for Dohun’s ability to adapt and his good sense in people that’s expected considering their career he also spent 13 years preparing to take over the company. I do find it interesting how he navigates work place conflict with ease like you mentioned I guess he does have the potential to be a normal guy with apathy. Yet when dealing with Yuwon he intentionally keeps him in the dark. He only uses his happiness as a mask to conceal his own selfish desires. He benefits the most from the very things people call Yuwon schizophrenic for: his uncertainty, doubts, distorted memory gaps, paranoia, vivid hallucinations. Dohun only further feeds the confusion by not being honest, pushing a narrative that nobody likes him and telling him that he should stay home bc only he can make him happy. He is trying to establish a codependent relationship where he is both the “cause and relief” of Yuwon’s misfortunes to ensure he wouldn’t be able to live without his hand which I think was the actual intent of his wish all along.
To make long story short I find Dohun wanting Yuwon’s misfortunes was for his own advantage, to build control. He’ll later fuel Yuwon’s delusions and violent behavior in an attempt to keep him by his side forever. Pushing blame on Yuwon makes no sense to me when Dohun was the one to lay the traps.
Ugh I hope the manhwa catches up to the novel fast.. I don’t really want to wait in suspense on the pay to read novel websites ╥﹏╥
The novel has the same name. “Rolling in bed with the Male Lead”; you can find it on novel updates, but im pretty sure the actual website name is mint mist haven or mist mint haven- one of those.
It’s completed, with 131ish chapters but 56 free rn. The manhwa is at like chapter 9-10 but there are some dialogue differences.
Tbh to anyone reading this I’d really let it marinate.. I’m pretty sure it’s like 70+ dollars to get all chapters immediately or waiting 269 days (2 days per chapter?). Well, that or 15 dollars if it’s included in the membership but it’s iffy either way.
I know right? 56 chapters and I can’t say there’s been any huge plot development yet in the novel which tells me the pacing may be a bit more spaced out than I originally thought; but even so, the chapters aren’t terribly long and the whole book would probably only take a few days to read.
It’s like ten dollars per 10 coins and they really expect people to pay that much for a short little gay book…? Hell no that’s ridiculous (︶︿︶)=凸
Hey, well I found this website https://borntobenovel.com/novel/rolling-in-bed-with-the-male-lead/chapters/ch-57 and it seems fine so far? I’m skeptical but the chapter contents don’t seem wrong from what I’ve seen; if anything, it’ll give me a general gist of the story which is good enough. I’d recommend a VPN is you try it
