jaeyoung was definitely drugged without knowing. when asked about the incident, jaeyoung admits he couldn’t remember anything. anyway, nothing is confirmed now so we’ll hopefully find out the backstory in season 2 :)
in c11, you can see that jaeyoung is forced it on him in the end during his recollection. the cup shows the reflection of his hyung (assumingely, jun) pulling jy’s cheek to the side. jun is also the one who named him happy in the first place and he seems to always be looking in his direction when we get glimpses of him so we can assume he had bad intentions. i guess we’re also not sure exactly of when this incident happened but i want to say the side effects were immediate since he was at rehab for a year based on sm’s detective skills in c4
