i went in with high expectations since this is the same author as hinekure sakura ni koi ga saku which is one of my fav mangas. this was nearly well written. i really enjoyed the beginning, it was a very good introduction to the story and the lowkey pining from both of them was entertaining; however, when the story got to the climax and when seo literally raped hatogaya, i was incredibly disappointed. that scene was not necessary, and having seo just simply say “i hate you” would’ve had the same effect. i don’t understand why authors believe it’s better to include scenes like that. no matter how good the story was afterwards, that one scene can’t be erased which practically ruined the rest of it for me.

i find this entire story a bit odd. i thought that the plot was going to be stronger and more centered around actual developments rather than smut? also im really hoping they’re all third years because erm. anyways, i think both shougetsu and kyoujima are stupid as hell, but kyoujima had more common sense. i honestly think i expected too much from a short story, but it definitely could’ve been written better

this was honestly pretty good. i’m a sucker for the childhood friends trope, so i obviously jumped to read immediately. i love the bond between aoi and ryouta, and i thought it was so sweet how unconditional their love for each other is. they genuinely care deeply about each other, and that’s so admiring. the writing was good for the most part, and there weren’t any problematic scenes except like a few. i’m not into somnophilia, so it kind of irked me when aoi did that to ryouta. besides that, the read was really good

i thought the beginning was very odd with how juwon kept ending up on jeong-min. it stopped eventually, so that was okay. i also found it a little confusing with how jeong-min felt throughout the beginning of the manga, but it got better near the end when he actually began expressing his thoughts. i originally really liked this manga, but i began to get a little bored with it because i felt like the same thing would happen every chapter. i think they fucked too much honestly. at a certain point i barely noticed plot. overall though, the story itself was pretty good

i feel like the plot could have been so much better because the prompt was mildly intriguing. i feel like the story was super rushed like most of these short mangas are. i wish it showed more of the emotional aspects to chidori and amarai’s relationship, and i wish it gave us more insight to how amarai was thinking throughout the whole story. i feel like the ending was kind of abrupt and that we shouldv’e gotten more plot, but i guess that wasn’t really the author’s intention when writing this.

i really loved this story at first. it was very angsty, and i’m all for angst. i was routing for sangwoo to mess up but then finally realize his mistake and go back to jaeyoung. it happened, sort of, but then even more issues came up that all stemmed from sangwoo. it became a point where i was genuinely annoyed at him, and i began to get less interested in the story. i’m glad they finally ended up together, but i honestly think it took too long. a lot of it was unnecessary character issues that should’ve led to character development for sangwoo but didn’t. i feel like there were just a couple loose ends that should’ve been tied as well.

i really enjoyed reading this for the most part. i thought that the plot was very interesting, and the characters had very good development. i did get pretty annoyed with haejin a few times, but i suppose its okay with how he reacts considering what was going on in his life. i feel like he acted like a hypocrite though. sunwoo was also very idiotic when he handled his issues as well, but everything worked out which is good. i really enjoyed the whole part about how they used to date but then reunited years later. i love the angst that comes with it. i wish it was a little more angsty though

i thought mr. nam was going to be a bigger problem, but i’m glad he actually had sense and didn’t actually try to go after woohyun. i guess it’s because of his relationship with his teacher when he was a kid, and that’s honestly so sad. i got so many heart clenches while reading this, and it was a first time in a while. so i enjoyed reading a lot. i loved the trope, and i liked seeing woohyun slowly falling for doha even if he didn’t realize it. i felt a little annoyed when doha told woohyun he was going to germany because all of that was unnecessary to be honest. they’re both lowkey dense. it’s okay though because they get together in the future as happy adults. the only thing i was annoyed with was how short the chapters were.

i’m not a huge fan of the story with haname and arashi because of the age gap. the actual plot was pretty good, and i really enjoy the childhood friends to lovers trope. i just can’t get behind the three year age gap, and also the fact that arashi was like a third year in college and haname was a senior in highschool is very weird considering the stuff they were doing. i don’t get why the age gap was necessary when they could’ve easily been both written as third years in college, but it’s whatever. i prefer the side story with kaga and miyoshi because at least they’re both of age. also i kind of like the angst with how miyoshi thought kaga lost feelings. i wish that was the main story instead of haname and arashi.

i figured this would be sad, but i didn’t know it would be this sad. sato went through so much as a child only to die at 17? that’s devastating. also, he never got the chance to thank or really talk to shida while he was alive, so it’s so unfair that he finally was able to do that when he only had a limited amount of days left to exist. it’s also depressing for shida too. she only was able to meet with sato after he died, but she got attached to him quickly. becoming attached to someone you know will disappear within like two weeks feels so hopeless, and that’s what hurts so much. knowing they could’ve been happy together but they missed their chance. also, that extra was so unnecessary. it doesn’t even make sense, and it sort of ruined the vibe at the end.
