Everyone, mostly everyone, here is so damn narrow minded. You all see Jaekyung as a bad guy even though he’s the one who changed Kim’s life when he didn’t deserve it. Kim has a victim mentality and is an alcoholic, but no is talking about that?? When Jaekyung is on edge because of his up coming tournament, Kim is only thinking about himself and leaving the place.
why didn't kim Dan deserve that his life changes for the better? He didn't do anything wrong in life, he was just unlucky (Just curious, I'm not picking a figt haha) also I understand Kim Dans way of thinking, just cause Jaekyoung is nice to him he told him many times (I think) that after the tournament is over he has no need for him as a jinx and masseur (Don't know the word of his job) anymore so of Kim dan thinks he's gotta leave cause Jaekyoung is contradicting his words and actions and also says strange things like one day this and one day another so Kim dan is confused and scared cause he doesn't know what to do, so he does what she initinally was intendend to do after his "usefullness" was over for Jaekyoung. I mean he still helped Kim Dan with money and lodging so of Kim Dan tries to help Jaekyoung to his best bit his mood swings are scary so Kim Dan thinks it's best for both that he leaves

well just as jaekyoung has a difficult personality cause of his childhood, Kim dan also has a difficult personality cause of how he grew up. ofc they both could have acted different in specific situations but their past and pride didn't let them. Them not doing the right thing and overthinking/ not thinking enough on what to say means that they have a lot of room to grow. ot everybody has a personality to just say what they want or feel, some have difficulties sorting their emotions or letting others now this and their struggles. We see that perfectly with these two.
To the people who don’t like this story, i understand. And if you like the original myth, you can go read it. Why come here and read this one, and complain when you can simply stop reading?

WHY ARE WE BLAMING THE VICTIM NOW? if we are going to blame someone it will be only Jaekyunh, he's taking advantage of Dan's financial situation for sexual gain. He could easily pay Dan for the work he does without expecting sexual favors, but because he's manipulative and predatory, he chooses not to. So no, it's not Dan's fault.
For the haters, I am not defending Joo Jeakyung after seeing his past. I always thought he wasn’t as bad as people make him out to be. He made a deal with Kim Dan and that is all he asks for, “Whenever. Wherever” But Dan is the one who started developing feelings for him. I do think Joo is a little hard on the small guy whenever they do it, but he is the one who agreed. Come on…
And Joo Jeakyung did not take advantage of Kim Dan’s financial situation at all. He paid off all the debt because deep down Joo is a good person. And he wants Kim Dan to only focus on his physical performance and it seemed Joo hated the few times Dan’s personal issues seeped into his ability to perform well. If anything he really didn’t need to pay his mountain of debt after paying him so damn well in the first place.

I tried to understand your point. From your words, since Jaekyung paid Dan to have s*x, their relationship is professional- a worker and a contractor. Sure, Dan agreed to fulfill whatever Jaekyung wants. However, it doesn’t mean that Jaekyung can disrespect Dan’s body and disregard his opinions. Being professional comes hand in hand with ethics, and Jaekyung clearly violated many ethical standards. You can see it happening in all the uncensored chapters but for a clear example, look at Ch. 35 - Jaekyung deliberately called Heesung over to display an oblivious Dan naked. He neither asked for Dan’s consent nor did he mention the event. All because he was jealous. In what way is that being professional? Another point is Jaekyung paying Dan’s debt. Fulfilling his part of the contract by providing money is bare minimum. Didn’t Dan do his part by providing his own body, whenever and however, even when his body couldn’t keep up? So, no. Jaekyung was in no way professional because being in a s*xual relationship does not mean that you can violate your partner’s right. Sadly, all their interactions were filled with such events.
