I think most queer people who grew up in this kind of environment can resonate with Yeoreum very much. The question he asked his mom is something I feel like most of us would like to ask our families but can't out of fear. It's really heartwarming seeing Yeoreum finally gather enough courage to face his mother when, at the start of the story, that was the very thing that frightened him most. His growth throughout this series is insane, and I'm so proud of how far he has come
It's really refreshing to see a character persue their dreams despite not being in the conditions to do so, usually mcs in stories like this end up doing wtv their parents want to help them out and then end up regretting it, but jinwoo is different he actually does what he loves even if it means going against his mom's wishes. I love that about his character
