Okay so this story was starting to get confusing and I felt the romance was just not hitting, like the chemistry felt so forced— particularly for her character— so I re-read ofc.
However, now I’m genuinely wondering if I’m tripping, reaching, or misunderstanding but it feels like Charlize straight up just groomed Dylan? When I just consider her motivations, and the power structures between their early relationship it all just culminates into THAT for me.
Genuinely wondering if I just read this with my brain off because as I actively write this I feel like my thoughts are right and I dk if I’ll continue anymore, not that my presence was important but I’d like if someone could chime in.
mind you seryeong is the one in the wrong, so how tf did this get flipped??? the constant overstepping of boundaries and consent at times, i’m not sure why he’s mad at that reaction when essentially this whole relationship is just built on blackmail.
