It wasn’t really red, but it wasn’t forest green. It’s been forever since I’ve read flashlight (due to hiatus) but he was always a little obsessive/ possessive. At least that’s how I interpret his behavior and the author’s intention with his character. (Or maybe I am overthinking because I tend to get deeply serious about these stories; I don’t be reading just to read, I actually evaluate and rate them
