Why are you guys so against SOMETHING that will lead and improve the story? Omg ok you can hate him as much as you want, i dont like him too but saying that this chapter was a waste of time came on tyat was clearly one of the key points of the story
Sadly not everyone views bl to be able to have a “real” story and have a “real” plot besides it being how A & B get together and fuck the end. Seems people are bitching because this is one of those stories that has a plot before the fucking and sucking. Like if Ray wasn’t in this and it wasn’t setting up for an overall plot about who he works for and his ulterior grooming motives like half the plot and character of Ban is already gone.
Plus we gotta remember tiktok and shorts are frying people’s attention spans beyond fucking belief. This site also being easy access also means probably a lot of people complaining… might genuinely be children.
Guys why are we loving and cheering for this Grayson sm like isnt he the one who torments his brother in many disgusting ways? Am i missin something how did he get a easypass from hate train
There definitely isn’t any reason to justify Grayson’s actions towards chase, however, in graysons defense, he genuinely believed he was helping him. in this series, dominant alphas are known for being physiologically different from the “normal” person and tend to think very uniquely… It’s mentioned in the novels how Chase was a rare case where a dominant alpha was able to feel emotions “normally”, so for Grayson to do the things he did, it was solely due to his own twisted mind and out of no ill intent whatsoever. also, it’s mentioned in the novel how Grayson was born not being able to feel emotions, hence why he relies on studying others. just like the scene where Grayson perfectly mimicked the interview videos, when he was “helping” Chase with the dog and rut, Grayson was trying to understand how others feel given their circumstances. This doesn’t clear Grayson from what he did, but I hope it provides some perspective on how he is the way he is.
I know the whole story because I read the novel, so it's easy for me to like him now, even though I don't agree with his past actions.
What I'm about to say may contain spoilers, so read only if you want to. He will regret the sins he committed (even if regretting and apologizing isn't enough in some cases). He had very good character development in the novel. And yes, he will suffer!!! Dane is his karma lol
Same as “ why do you guys cheer for Chase if he tried to killed Josh and have hurt a lot of people because of his anger issues?”
You guys will say for his past you understand he had trauma..
For the people who like Grayson will say that even if he has done bad things to Chase and having mental issues does not justify them, they understand his behavior and where it was coming from
Okay, then, spoiler below.
He's gonna suffer bc Dane is his karma. Dane doesn't believe in love, so he needs to try very hard to win him over. Dane is afraid bc of his traumatic past with his mom, so... A delicious slow burn where you get to know both characters very well. He's the kind of guy who would do anything for Dane, I love that.
Also Dane is different from the people who have been in Grayson's life before. Instead of Dane chasing after Grayson, Grayson is the one who needs to chase after him. Grayson also has a condition where he can't show or feel emotions (at first), Dane helps with that. He discovers fear with Dane, he suffers, he CRIES bc he's afraid Dane will die in front of him bc Dane throws himself into the fire to save anyone, he almost went crazy bc of Dane. Sometimes I thought Dane was proving too difficult to reach, and that was driving ME crazy bc I wanted the romance to happen soon lol but then I remembered how Greyson used to be and I'd think: no, no, Greyson deserves this, suffer a little longer
Tbh I lost my interest after seeing them acting so nonchalant after rape, like they didnt even care
They were still kind of in the middle of the crisis. I like to think it was still mid-shock. Straight up, they do not get time to really sit with it and decompress or talk about it. The shit happening surrounding the rape scene is still ongoing for a couple chapters, and it immediately devolves into another crisis. Our poor dummys don’t get a break literally until the very end and even then they are still processing and fall into that kind of “omg we almost died and never saw each other again” period where they need to reassure each other that they’re both still there. I personally think that they would address it eventually, it’ll just take a while because of their stubborn personalities, and we also prolly won’t see it in a bonus chapter (if there are any) just because at that point it probably feels weird for the author to bring it up again after 10+ chapters

Im glad he didn't overreact
