Ok in general it is at the beginning of the story that I feel sorry for him, first a slave then penelole treats him only as an "object" to escape without ever considering him a person, in hindsight it was already obvious that what would be born was a toxic relationship having finished the story I can say that despite everything I am sorry for the ending he made but I think that for him it was a better ending because if he had stayed close to alope pene I think she would have felt guilty for how she "used" him but also scared by the actions that eckles She could have done it and she wouldn't have been able to accept her feelings for Callisto I hope i've expressed myself correctly words are difficult lol

Oh yeah thank you twin i get it now bc i think i was too focused on Penelope's side where from her pov she js wanted to escape and his wasn't reaching 100 but stuck at 99 bc it wasn't exactly love and then after she left him to his expenses he betrayed her and asked for help from her sister and that caused hella issues. But thinking about it now, i knew it was toxic but i never deeped how bad it was for him bc i was rooting for her. She used him and then left him as if he hadn't gotten severely attatched and dependant on her so when she basically told him to do one he js went insane and i feel like this all could've been avoided if she had treated him justly and fairly like a normal human being instead of leading him on w a carrot kind of thing where he was seeking her approval and would slightly win her affection every now and then. I don't entirely blame her bc obviously his actions shouldn't define her, but i can say that she did play in eckles face and didn't treat him right and i wish there was a different outcome for him but we're prolly not getting that.
