After the miscarriage, she was taken to Agnes's castle to recover. Her dad went there because they were going to hold a celebration, but he met Maxi and told her she's useless and no man would want her. This is when she found out about the miscarriage and was devasted no one told her. The dad expected Riftan to ask for a divorce, so to hold it off and not "taint" the family (her sister was in the middle of getting engaged to the royal family and her dad didnt want the royal fam to think miscarriages ran in the fam), she agreed to go w her dad. Plus, Riftan wasnt communicating well. He yelled her to leave and that shes not needed at the castle the monsters had attacked. He didnt look at her while she was on her was to Agnes's castle, so she truly thought he didnt love her anymore.
