I mean I didn’t read the wn or ln so take it with a grain of salt if you read this but I just wished they wouldn’t put any romance if maomao had such an adverse reaction to Jinshi, he basically forced her to kiss him, at least I’m glad that it’s mainly focus on mysteries for now…. And if it’s changed in the manga adaptation, even better. Either go with mystery with sprinkles of friendly antics or sprinkles of MUTUAL feelings

Usually I would dislike the ML but not today,(his side of story at very least seems credible but) don’t tell me no one ever comforted him or even asked if he way okay which he could at least imitate when trying to comfort someone AND ALSO THE KIDS DOESNT EVEN LOOK LIKE THEIR PARENTS

I read all the comments, rational explanations as to how the ML change….. and yeah I get it, he got curious at the sudden changes in the empress. BUT I STILL WANT HIM TO SUFFER…. Cuz I mean, from my perspective, the only suffering he is suffering from is like rejection from the empress (aside from his childhood and blah blah blah) but anyways, I still want justice for the original empress…. It got completely glossed over (not really, but if felt like that)…… EVEN JUST A HEARTACHE cuz yknow, he just started feeling the feeling of love
How will it be justise to ogfl if she is no longer there? I get it, and I really support the idea that she deserve to see him pay for her pain. But I don't get how current fl is owed anything like that... It really comes down to the fact that whatever his debts are , they are not for her to collect.

For me, them divorcing would break the emperors heart, I hope, (it prolly won’t ever happen)…. and with that FL is free from him and being an empress whatevs and ML is like suffering from loss…. and that for me counts as justice for the OG empress, cuz Ml used her as a tool and literally ignored her completely, like he didn’t even give the minimum respect for an empress like hello, I know he wasn’t a good person but at least as an emperor, he should at the very least have communication and respect for the og even whilst using her as a tool…… and just for that I want him to suffer like how the og suffered, our fl doesn’t have to do anything else, just divorce the guy he hates (she gonna fall anyways, so nvm)….. I’ll divorce this story instead lmao bye
