She aknowledged him ? More like she knew she didnt have a choice. Her husband felt no remorse for cheating and he would probably choose Uichi over her if she threatened to break up.

She wasn't happy about it at all, she simply refused to be to look pathetic by yelling at her husband for his infidelity.

I honestly wouldn't have read this story if i had known beforehand that the wife was treated badly like that. But i already started and i want to know the end. But i really am not into stories where 1 character is being cheated on and dont get a proper happy ending. And in her case its as if they pissed on her grave after she died.

I still don’t see how Tora loves Rogi more than Asami when they’re clearly different types of love and of course a BL will focus on the m/m of the pairing. This isn’t a josei so unfortunately we’re not going to see how passionate Asami and Tora had been for each other, but it’s clear that right now their relationship is about stability — wherein Rogi rocks Tora’s world while Asami is there to ground him.

I agree but there's a difference between stability and love. He married her so of course he'd want stability with her, this is what marriage is about. Plus they have a son now so he needs to be loyal to them. I have no doubt that they were passionate about each other and last chapter even stated that. But the fact that he's ready to put his family, clan and even his own life in jeopardy despite all that means that he loves Rogi more than he loves Asami.

He is willing to put all that in jeopardy by himself. Just like he said to his dad's ally that he wanted to crush his dad. It wasnt for Rogi and it could lead it to jeopardy.

Idk who said it but at some point it was said that Akitora saw Rogi as a lover, a son and a friend. Someone who understands him better than anyone. And then at some point Akitora says Rogi is death and Asami is life, whatsver that means lol.

I don't think we can tell for sure wether or not he loves Rogi more than Asami romantically. Especially since Akitora didn't even think his wife would be mad about it.

Akitora is sexist. No surprise here, he's a yakuza. He doesn't think that she has reasons to be overly jealous because she got the status of a wife so she's officially his number 1 and it's expected that she would just overlook his infidelity because there's no threat to her title. Also I was talking about Akitora's feelings in regards to what happens up to chapter 25.
And I know that he was already putting them in jeopardy before Rogi but there's a difference between fucking up your own life and allowing someone else to do it.

I think you’re misunderstanding me — stability isn’t “wife and kids to continue the family line”, it’s clear that Tora doesn’t give a fuck about Yakuza traditions and I doubt he would marry someone just to satisfy his yakuza family. The stability I mean is how when one person is a rock to the other person that grounds them, emotionally. Tora even makes parallels himself that he could follow Rogi to death while Asami brings him life. Since this is a BL, we’re not gonna see the depths of love Asami and Tora have for each other, but I think Scarlet Beriko had still been able to show it as much as she could with the genre.

As for “he’s ready for to put his family in danger for Rogi”, I’m afraid future chapters will tell you the exact opposite will happen. I’ve seen the raws up to chapter 25, and ultimately the reason why they’re able to be together now is because Tora doesn’t have his family to look after anymore.

What makes you think the reason is because he thinks all that matters to his wife is her title? And that he is sexist and all?

Akitora did say that the reason he killed the dude(forgot his name) was because of his urge to possess Rogi. So we know he would go out of his mind to get Rogi. But its possible he would do the same for Asami.
And at one point he did say that he "wanted everything" and so that he wont let go of Rogi. But the only reason Rogi is the one targeted by this is because others are telling Akitora to let go of Rogi.

I would like to have Asam in a dangerous position to see Akitora's reaction. And if he doesnt become crazy then yea the answer is clear.

Yeah, I don’t think it’s gonna happen, unfortunately. I was also rooting for Rogi as a father in a second love story but Scarlet Beriko pretty much changed her mind mid-arc and made the series into the Tora/Rogi show. My one actual critique for Beriko is that because of this decision, it feels like Reika and Hachi were just side characters who did nothing substantial to the series.
