I was 12 and thought I found a new manga about a prince on a quest who meets a sorcerer. Got jumpscared when I clicked the next page and they were both nekked. (Crimson Spell btw. Iykyk) After a minor heart attack, I went back and discovered that I enjoyed reading it.
Honestly, I think that the kid might be dead already. When Teach visited their house, the way the dad refused to let him see the kid makes me think that he got really sick and passed. The dad may have just been in denial and still trying to treat him with medicine.
Kinda spoiler: why the hell would you choose to do it that way?! That was way too prolonged and violent.
