I've never read this before and the plot looked interesting, but just why is there a r-pe scene by chapter 5? Gross.
It's the only non con scene btw, the rest of the story is fine, it doesn't have non con scene, well not from the main leads. So if you're fine with going past this one chapter, the rest of the story is fine.
And I'm not defending this work for that, i too genuinely hate that the author left that chapter in. In one of their author notes they describe how the story was gonna be a darker story so probably why the beginning is like that.
Ill try to pick this back up and give it another shot, thank you for telling me! I really hate non-con scenes especially when it feels like they do nothing for the plot.
Yea i understand, after I completed this story, it became my favourite but I can't reread without feeling shit about this one scene. It literally doesn't even make sense because the ml is actually so so sweet in the later chapters even when they're not quite a couple and mc does put up a fight when someone tries messing with him, so literally this chapter just seems so out of place.
