If my partner can’t help feeling uneasy seeing me with someone, I would refrain from spending time privately with them. This is not your beloved childhood friend; that’s your boss! Your partner’s peace of mind should come first.
I get it that’s he’s young and inexperienced and it’s his first job so he’s navigating it (poorly), but damn it’s so frustrating.
