He brought back Yvone to make Penny not have anyone else but him to lean on, but the duke threw him in there lol. Yvone was discovered by Penny as that evil which from that cult she fought with Callisto. She saw her brainwash Eclis. Penny cut Eclis off completely and is now thinking about what to do next while being extremely depressed

Redemption arc what?? Guys, he's a DIAGNOSED PSYCHOPATH. They dont suddenly fall in love and get "cured"- dont confuse people who are assholes bc of their experiences (e.g. jinx) w people whos literal brain composition is different. If anything the story is unravelling in a way that, the mc is got a little thing in his brain going on too (hence, novel readers have hinted at as well as wooyeon has identified IN THIS CHAPTER)
