as someone who reads both genres, i have to agree with you. almost 90% of BLs’ i have read, it contains heavy elements yet nobody bats an eye when the “redemption” happens!! for example, Roses and Champagne — that has HEAVY themes yet everyone basically forgot about it now

especially this being an omegaverse and almost every BL omegaverse has heavy elements of r or blackmail

I disagree a bit... I read some really questionable one... they are a minority but there's always someone that calls out the noncon and other toxic sh*t in the story. But they're just the minority and get buried bc of other comments that don't care about these stuff since they're used to them. Not to mention people that are easily trigger by such topics don't even check serie with them.

Here were constantly bombarded with new manga, stories etc. i wouldn't be surprised if people stopped talking of a serie simply because they move on and read other stuff. For example, I don't check or talk about manga/webtoon i hated after dropping them.

Certainly I didn't mean "nobody". Of course there are always those who point it out in the BL too. It just seems to me that this series got marginally higher rates of hate compared to BL omegaverse of similar situations. Maybe people are just use to it in BL by now and so for this to not be BL it'd seen as somehow worse? IDK.
