I remember that it was about a young man who could change into a beast that looked kind of like a black wolf based sort of pokemon (lol) but had big power of destruction. Those beasts kind of found a soulmate. The boy (black haired) found a guy (blond) and they became compagnon (there is also a cute black ball of hair travelling with the blond)
Turns out the blond was some kind of hunter and was experimented on...
I think it was a shounen ai but I can't remeber the name
