Truly the most depressing story I have read so far… I would totally recommend if you’re mainly into angst and tragedy. I have never cried so much.
Annette, who is full of joy and innocence, falls in love with Heiner, a spy who approaches her in an effort to exact revenge because her father has committed many evil deeds not only to him but to many. Three years later, her father is assassinated as a result of her husband's betrayal and revolution, ultimately leading to her mother's suicide, and as a result, she is completely miserable due to her husband's harsh treatment towards her and the hatred she faces from everyone due to her father's crimes. As a result, she must go through and bear a lot of hardships. Truly a devastating story.
