explanation from chap 1 to chap 45 :
Seth has a wife, Nephtys, and a son, Anubis, and he is the actual ruler of Egypt and a long long time ago he killed Osiris, the true ruler of Egypt because Sehkmet made him jalous of him, and he threw him into the Duat aka the world of the deads.. Osiris' wife, Isis, used the Nile and her magic power to bring Osiris back to life but for a short time only because after being killed by Seth he became the god of death (he's the god of light too) and he so is bound to the underworld. They had a child, Horus, during this time. Isis had to hide herself for centuries with Horus while keeping his existence a secret from Seth. Now in the present, Horus and Isis are back to confront Seth during a trial made by the other gods to tack back the right to rule over Egypt, because Osiris was the ruler of Egypt so the right to be the ruler comes to his son. If Seth wins the trial, he will be recognize as the true ruler of Egypt. But if Horus wins, he will become the new ruler of Egypt. During the trial, Osiris came back to life using Anubis' body to prove Horus was his child.
Seth wins the first trial, but loose the second one, all the gods are helping Horus to win. Hator, a goddess interested in Horus, gives him a strange mirror before the last trial. She later meets Seth with an other mirror that looks exactely like the one she gave to Horus. Seth takes the mirror from her and at the same time, Horus looks at the one mirror Horus gave him. He sees Seth through his mirror, as if the tw mirrors are connected; and then he ends up in a strange dark place where he meets another Nephtys. This Nephtys tells him that they are inside the mirror he looked at and that she's the real Nephtys, the other Nephtys outside the mirror is the fake one and that she was trapped in the mirror a long time ago (before Seth goes crazy and kills Osiris and the people of Egypt). Horus get out of the mirror by some miracle, we dont know why at this moent in the story. During this time, Sehkmet (this bitch) comes to see Seth and tells him to go see Horus the night to do *things* with him because it will destabilize him and help Seth win his last trial more easily. So Seth goes but the mirror Hator gave to Horus and that Horus now has in his room was a gift from Sehkmet (this bitch again) who uses the mirror to see and control Horus throught it (she does all that because she loves to spread pain and destructoion ofc). So she uses her powed throught the mirror to make Seth weak so that Horus ****TW*** can ***TW again so you're warned for good*** can rape Seth. After that Seth is the one completely destabilized and run away. He runs into Osiris (who used Anubis' body to come into the world of the living but Seth doesnt know thet heh) and they start to fight because Seth really hates Osiris with his guts. During this time, Sehkmet explains that yes the Nephtys in the mirror is the real one and why Seth hates Osirirs with his guts. He hates him because a long time ago Osiris stole his seed of fertility to make him incapable of having a child with Nephtys, so that Nephtys would come to him in secret to have his seed and have a child while pretending it was Seth's child.Osiris gave his seed to Nephtys in exchange of her power of fertility because only the goddess have the power to create life (even if he is the god of life he cant create it). He wanted Nephty's fertility to have a child with Seth, because he loves Seth. And why he Had Anubis in the first place ? Because he still needed a body to receive his and Seth's child, so he took every vital organ of Anubisand only left his vital energy so he can still serve as a host for a new child. Seeing the organs of Anubis, Seth (who was drugged by this green mf ofc during their discussion about him being infertile) gives his body to Osiris while begging him to let anubis live in peace. So Osiris ***TW*** rapes Seth. A little before, Nephtys, who was consummed by guilt, chose to tell everything to Isis, so Isis comes to see Osiris to have explanations and she sees him raping Seth. So she goes away in disgust and curses herself, Nephtys, Seth and Osiris as a revenge. And if Osiris can use Anubi's body as a receptacle it's because he maintains him alive with his power as the god of life so he's sort of bound to him (after taking away all his vital organs to threaten Seth).
