Being held captive like that while getting repeatedly and violently assaulted against your will, and also after failing to escape several times, wouldn't one ever think of trying to off themselves. Ik taekjoo is build different yet what surprises me most is smth else; it's been some years since I first read the novel and I'm still surprised he actually fell for someone like zhenya. I say stockholm syndrome and people on ig are always ready to fight me

I just want to thank you for giving me a new obsession! I just finished the manhwa and I'm off to find the novel for it and you're so right about them being similar! Even the way the story and world building is in that manhwa feel like ghost stories and contamination.
