Yeah no you can't do the whole tragic backstory or whatever on this. She was a17 year old slave abused and forced to give birth and then again abused by more people in power. Her journey of struggle and trying to find some sort of acceptance or comfort is marred with deceit and deception because she had no one around to help her. And she was manipulated over and over. Yeah she isn't perfect but the villain isn't her, its the emperor, but he doesn't even get a 1/10 of the suffering rashta goes through. I highly suggest u re read this once you are older when your frontal lobe has expanded because in no world is cheating/homewrecking worse than slavery. And it's not like Rashta had a choice either
I kinda agree to you. Navier didn’t do anything to Rashta. In the first place, on why would she treat Rashta as her “sister”? She’s a mistress. Rashta is a STRANGER to her. A mistress of her husband. Rashta has her own hardships and struggles in life but Navier is not the one who caused it. Navier couldn’t control her brother but she knew her brother did it for her sake. Her brother got punished for it. Did she command her brother to attack rashta? No
Why the fuck should she show grace to rashta? why would Navier protect her from the men when navier got divorced by sovieshit and even her friend (the duchess) got divorced too with her husband because of rashta. All the women in this story has no protection at all. Navier got lucky because she has Heinley.
Rashta also tried to assasinate Navier’s parents and even try to kill the real daughter of her foster parents. But no one condemn her for it and even gave rashta a pass because she had a dark past .
Nobody in this novel are perfect.
