I ate this novel up like it was nobodies business, was literally glued to my iPad when I read this. The manhwa just doesn’t do it justice. The whole scene here between them was so freaking intense. The MC was tweaking in the shower with all these possessive and obsessive thoughts, like “he’s my alpha and he’s not satisfying me” and the freak out scene before that was sooo good like I’m talking phenomenally good. He was licking and sucking and rollining and humping and tugging all up on our MC like he was his last meal on death rowwwww yall don’t even know my boy. Please go read the novel if you have the capacity.

Ikr!!! Seems like they're speeding up the story by having Do-i-hyeon be desperate and clueless rather than dense and apathetic. I'm a bit concerned for the future character development here but it is still a fun read
That’s what I’m sayinggggggg, like they’re taking all of it out and making it watered down. When I was reading it it felt so immersive. I’m reading all the comments and the manhwa is not portraying the deepness of them and it’s makes me angryyyyy.

I’ve been seeing it on here in other comment sections, TikTok, instagram, twitter, etc. It’s driving me absolutely insane because for me it’s not much of an opinion but more of a “if you don’t write this how I want it, it’s trash and the male lead is pure evil”

The art style is… interesting but Ifound only in the face. They were hella chopped. Body wise though, the uke had bit of a belly and his body was HELLA grown. Like when he was naked and they were boutta do it he had man hands and shoulders and everything. I liked that it looked like a man’s body and that’s peak.
Wasted an insane plot point about the male lead though, would’ve been so good. Also would’ve been even better if he was lying and it was a boar but some masked men teehee. Or a monster. Or something other than a boar. Would’ve been PEAK. #－.－)
Y’all.. I don’t know if it’s because people are more used to the usual tropes or if they’re new gens, but I feel like we might be nitpicking this story a little too much and missing the bigger picture.
I’ve skimmed through a lot of the comments and saw that there was a lot of discussion surrounding the story. Some of the comments I think are losing the ability to read complex literature. This is, imo, the FARTHEST thing from slop.
I genuinely think it’s really good. It’s complex and intense. The characters aren’t perfect, the story is not perfect, and tbh, I think that’s what makes them interesting. They’re human, which means they are imperfect. This applies to all the characters too, even our MC. I found everything to be realistic in a sense too for their situation, which made it all the better.
The story isn’t strait laced and cut perfectly, there’s more nuance, depth and realism I think compared to some stories we will see today. You really have to think about what you’re reading and not take it at face value.
It kind of feels like the entire plot is intense and angsty and wrapped up in a warm soft blanket. I felt like that there’s so much going on underneath everything, and I thought that this is what sets the story apart from many other stories.
For anyone thinking about reading it, I’d honestly say read it for yourself and form your own opinion. Everyone seems to take something different from the story, so I wouldn’t let the comments decide how you feel about it before you’ve even read it. Just dive in and hold on for the ride.
Personally, I just think it’s a really beautiful, intense story that works perfectly for the time and setting it was written for. 100% a strong 10/10 for me. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
