Idk how I feel about the redesign, like it took me a beat to recognise him in the comet mv on yt. Everyone is focusing on the stitches on his upper arm and finger but I can’t unsee him wearing “the hounds” tshirt and just his whole vibe being different/ inconsistent up until now.

I fear we’re getting a Tale of the Yellow Dragon ending and not Smyrna&Capri

Tbh based on Ennids interactions with the secret wizard who placed the curse. It may have been done with good intentions like trying to avert him siring an heir and therefore spreading the disease. Although it did put him at considerable risk…just speculating.

Also what if Varabus and Ennid are distant cousins. Nobles don’t tend to reside in the castle unless they’re direct lineage and that’s why his brother is so disgusted by his infatuation beyond just your usual homophobia. （￣へ￣）
