As someone that dated a person that had bpd and would self harm, threaten to kill themselves and also made an actual attempt (i called the police and thankfully they saved them) it is super exhausting. It makes you feel that you are trapped with that person forever because if u hurt them or break up with them u are responsible for their well being. It sucks. I really don't like the development of mokyeon, i feel so freaking bad for nanjo. I can't even root for them anymore... Maybe I'm taking it too personally and getting triggered idk
Your feelings are absolutely valid and while no one does actually deserve to be treated like this please remember that for someone with bpd(myself) it also gets very exhausting not being able to control they way you react most of the time. I personally work very hard to avoid doing anything like that which I would hope everyone else with bdp would do as well. All that being said, I can get why you don’t like how mokyeon seems to be playing out after experiencing the other end of the stick.
Author addressed mokyeon bpd allegations and it's not confirmed so let's not...sorry you had to go through that though

And while this is fiction, if it hits too close to your reality, then it will definitely mess up your mental health.
