Tenkousei (nakamura Asumiko)
Kakafukaka
This manga was an absolute delight to spend my weekend reading. Each of the characters has thought put into them--just when you think they're going to act like a trope, the author surprises you. I loved the big themes of consent, self-esteem, and sexual versus romantic love. This manga made me burst out laughing multiple times, it gave me fluttery romantic feelings, it broke my heart multiple times, and it even made me mad at the characters. I had to put the manga down a couple of times because I got mad, but I so desperately wanted to know what happened next that I quickly picked it up again. I think the best thing about this manga is definitely the script writing. It feels so natural and human. And I enjoyed psychoanalysing each character ahahaha. Definitely recommend.
