The translators used raws in Korean and that's just how their age system works. I believe one of the chapters has a note on it.

I don’t understand the relationship dynamic between hajin and jaehyuk ? Like were they dating? Did he cheat on him then?
From what I saw in the latest updates... when Hajin bit his own dog (ofc he was at his most vulnerable state) at that time Jaehyuk arrived and kinda gave him the emotional support being a kid around his age... they became really good friends though Jaehyuk fell for Hajin, but i don't think hajin felt anything for him (but we'll know more about it in the further updates, it might provide more clarity)
