I was esp curious about the ranks bcs mc is at the highesf rank with ml after accumulating so much exp imagine how powerful he was for such an unassuming guy... and mygod babsot makes such beautiful art. Ofc there are questionable morals here but what did i expect from a premise that started with sex betweeen adoptive brothers lol ofc understandable ig that there were sprinkles of toxicity and obsession when both of them have been mentally affected with deacdes worth of deaths and monsters and trauma. idk if the novel was completed tho so off to hunting it just bcs i wanna know more abr the world bldg (yes imma pretend they dont go 10+ rounds each time i hope there's more lore in the novel)

long story short and just to be a little vague (up to you to deduce). The villain isn't really who we think it'd be... and ml had tried to protect mc from this truth all along, but it's too latem bcs mc is so *blind*. Everybody is killed in current timeline. Since learning the truth, mc will try to kill himself for multiple timelines next, every time he reincarnates, but this was all told in ml's pov (the pain). There are several things that will lead to resolution eventually, but damn it had to be more than a hundred reincarnations at that point. They eventually get a happy ending anw (thank god i was about to give up reading too), but for me the side stories saved it so much bcs doomed old yaoi isn't so doomed after all

I love merr on his own, but their romance is nonexistent and felt liek it was pushed in my face thru all the blushes help... funny anw

lowkey prefer this manhwa cuz the blushes and pauses and warm subtle things are much more obvious. little things or dialogues are slightly different in the novel, the manhwa is def funnier bcs they made sure to make him absurd but u can see he still gets shy, while in the novel mc is more fueled by hatred. at least for the first half of the novel, they're epitomes of enemies and even though there are supposedly romantic scenes, u barely get the feels bcs of how much mc reiterates how angry he is lol and also how he always has a solution to everything. my heart goes to manhwa richard bcs he stumbles and has more flaws lolol and caelus keeps flustering (barely happening early on in the novel) which is cuteeee. But yeahh novel mc and ml are much more badass (stoic angry mfs lol)
