Why TF didnt Seungeon just tell Jiwook that Hyungseo was dangerous?
HE KNEW that Hyungseo was sticking to Jiwook since returning from abroad, why didnt he tell Jiwook... When Jiwook found out Seungeon wasnt the one that murdered his father, Jiwook was open to hearing out who was the cause, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY. If he did it before then, id understand if Jiwook wouldnt believe it and would just think Seungeon is trying to pin it on a guy they hadnt seen in so many years, BUT HES CLEARLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO BEING PERSUADED HERE. And even if not fully convinced, atleast WARN HIM then he wouldnt so readily invite him into his home, hang out with him in intimate spaces etc. Like bro
I feel like the outcome wouldnt be much different. If Jiwook showed suspicion of Hyungseo, he'd probably sense it and still kidnap him for different reasons, but it just pisses me off that Seungeon decided to withhold this VERY VITAL information from Jiwook, so bro is just waddling about with his father's killer unaware of everything..

Part of me wanted to see Park Yejun get punished.
But also I guess he was a victim in all this.......... but I just dont like him because hes a selfish asshole... I guess thats not reason enough to kill him tho :'(

People saying "second couple is problematic".
I just decided to completely disregard them as a whole and choose to believe that Sun and Forte is the second couple :3 I love them a lot. I like Forte a lot. I just dont even bother acknowledging Ichi and Rokka.
Okay, morally the age gap is SOOO WRONG. actually undoes all the like I ever fathomed for Ichi tbh. BUT the age of consent WAS 13 back when this came out. Tho still fucking weird
But hey, Zero and Nina, Sun and Forte. Great couples. And they hint at some gay romance here and there between other pairs too. All of which are more valid than Rokka and Ichi, I will add
I feel like eventhough they grew up together and acted like siblings, its more of them being childhood friends if anything..
Tho I did feel the switch between "this is your sibling" to instantly "youre not related, and theyre romancable" was way too jarring.
I feel like you sometimes even forget what the first half of the story was like because it feels so detached.
But I did enjoy the story a lot and liked that they finally found people they can trust
I actually dislike them both, but you gotta admit that Juhyeok is the biggest victim in all of this...

You can say however much that you "thought it would help" but you know yo ass was just mad that he moved onto another girl and cant stand that he will never love you back after you decided to walk out on him first when he revealed his secret to you..
Plus, if his team lost the game, why would yall want him on your team??? How does beating him and forcing him to play for you team, a way of helping him?

I feel like this manhwa, among some other things, managed to stop me from offing myself last year. And its already coming up to a year..
This was literally going to be the last manhwa i read before ending it.
Something about this manhwa that has such dark and relatable topics, yet confronts everything with a slight lightheartedness, but isnt overdoing it.. It knows when to take things seriously, and when to make it lighthearted. I relate so much to Jinhyeong in terms of personality and how we approach life with constant anxiety, so we become avoidant and dont show our true personality as to not get hurt and betrayed. I think as I read this manhwa, I felt like I was viewing myself in him- And when I was planning to end it all, I thought about how I'd wish I could see how this manhwa would end, and see him finally happy and thriving- How meeting that one person can change your life perspective for the better.
What a stupid reason to delay many years of planning and build up lol. But im glad I didnt do it, so I could see Jinhyeong changing for the better, and hope to see the same change in myself one day

IVE LITERALLY NEVER SIMPED SO HARD FOR A MALE LEAD BEFORE. LIKE HAAAARD SIMP FOR. Maybe its because of Mel being so amazing, I had hoped whoever the male lead would be, theyd have to be REALLY great. But man does he outdo himself TT_TT He cares so much for Mel but doesn't boast about it. He never takes credit for her success, or he plays it off as if he didnt do anything and it was all her success.. He always has her best interest in mind, and is always ready to support her. AHRBWONFV the way his eyes soften when he sees her too.. GAHHH. And the way he so shamelessly showing Mel affection without any bigheadedness.
He wasnt originally my type, but he constantly proves himself to be the better love interest by his actions, and that really did it for me ;-; I love them so much, they deserve eachother
I gotta love a guy thats usually indifferent in every day life, turning into a total romantic when theyre in love. Thats the biggest green flag
