This work is meant for adults (18+), which it assumes are capable of making clear judgement and have the basic common knowledge that a sexual relationship between a legal adult and an individual under a certain age (varies from place to place) is illegal and should not be mimicked even if it seems appealing in a fictional story.
If this is a subject you are bothered by and/or feel uncomfortable with, this work is not for you. If you feel the need to share your dissatisfaction with the work for containing this subject, you are obviously free to do so. The comment section is, after all, meant for readers to share their feelings/thoughts/opinions regarding the work. However, please try not to use this place to attack others for enjoying this subject in a fictional work (or for enjoying any other subject in adult fiction that you feel is wrong and/or problematic).
Those who enjoy it are also (or at least should be) adults, and (hopefully) don't need to be told right from wrong.
Be sure to vaccinate your kids. Spay and neuter your pets. Don't do drugs. Stay hydrated.
This has been a PSA.

I feel like the mangaka did a poor job in depicting this man's story. She also didn't include any of the really meaningful moments described in the interviews such as him discovering his sexuality or his coming out to his mother after a failed suicide attempt. He also mentioned crying in the shower for a couple of hours after being rejected by the guy he tried to give a present to. Would it have been that hard to add even just a panel to depict that? I'm assuming that moment is supposed to show us what triggered his determination to never let himself fall for a straight guy again but she skipped the part where you can actually see just how broken he must have been over it.
Also, I wish they'd gone into more detail about that year long separation. I don't know, maybe it's a cultural thing and it's just not enough for someone like me who's not Japanese/from Japan/a conservative parent from Kyushu to really understand.
But, oh well, the interviews gave me the impression that they've been together for a long time and that they're happy so I'm happy for them.
