Nowadays, every BL I start, I have to ask in the comments whether there's rape or not because the bar is genuinely in hell. And whenever you criticize it, people hit you with the same lazy-ass excuse: "If you don't like it, don't read it."
It was the same with Behind the Stage. I explicitly said the ML was a fuckboy who kept sleeping with people other than the MC, and people acted like he was some fucking saint. They completely ignored the criticism and just dogpiled me for daring to point out his flaws. You can like a character and still admit they're a walking red flag. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.
