im like you but for me personally i think the straight romance in this story is very tolerable. because the female love interest is actually independent and didn't feel like she was created just to be the love interest (like some other female love interest in shounen lol) so i managed to like her. also she's not in the party so you wont really see her that much compared to lloyd with javier who is together in every arc
