I really recommend the novel of this one, because it goes more into her thought process, and also it shows that most of her thoughts go to how to prevent her own murder and investigating who might be behind it. It also makes it a bit more logical as to why she gives up on her fiance so easily, because he put in ZERO effort into their relationship before and only realises very late that he actually likes her. The manga kinda skips over a lot of nuanced feelings and important stuff.
Can we talk about the fact that the ML still HASN'T APOLOGIZED for the abuse she suffered while she was "under his care"??? Shouldn't that be the first step? And he doesn't get why she wants to divorce him.
