God I hope I’m wrong. But I read a few comments before talking about how Nanjo seems to obsess over keeping his clean image (like many other chaebols). It speaks as to why he’s trying so hard to patch things up with Sunhwa to keep maintain control of the narrative and keep things drama-free (though inadvertently causing MORE drama in the process). It’s probably also his response to the weight on his conscience for how things ended.

Now…. With that in mind… I think Nanjo will now feel insanely responsible for Mokyeon’s car accident. We have to remember he hasn’t physically seen Mokyeon all this time, as he’s been avoiding him and having security escort him away from the property. I think he’ll visit Mokyeon with the purpose of ensuring he’s okay + probably to cover the medical expenses (to control the narrative and assuage his guilt once again). In doing so, I think he’ll finally see his bad Mokyeon has gotten (lost weight, disheveled, slit wrists etc). Not to mention the savior complex he has (exhibited with Sunhwa)… I think that’s how those two will end up back in each other’s orbit.

I actually hope I’m wrong though because this also gives Mokyeon more “ammunition” to use against Nanjo until he can somehow genuinely win him over. I’m pretty convinced at this point that Mokyeon has Borderline Personality Disorder… this is only going to put a battery in his back. I know these two are endgame but I kinda really wish they weren’t. There’s no way this relationship can stem from healthy footing without therapy and A TON of accountability. But I don’t think we’re getting that lol
