Dawg, I probably started reading bl when I was 15, and have read all the boombaya(Idk what negative impact it had on me, because lowkey I couldn't care less). So, atp, the author and illustrators are the only ones saving their sanity in the name of 15+ cuz I've seen 7 year olds read heavy af smut
I'm kinda glad tho , for not having smut. Reading a romance story doesn't always have to show sex scenes. Sex should be behind the curtain after all . Still artists's have their own freedom to draw whatever they want. I don't mind smut nor do I hate it. But I prefer less smut scenes , because it's no less than watching porn and enjoying it makes you a perv
Actually I didn't give much context earlier, but, I believe, 'kid' is someone who hasn't yet developed a consciousness that they are an individual. And, in my case I was made to do so earlier than the rest. And, I hence think that it does depends on individuals on how they percieve the scenes. At first, I felt embarrassed and felt like I was doing some sort of sin, but, you know what I meant when I said I don't feel much now? I meant, I didn't felt that physical intimacy with the one you love is a sin. What I felt wasn't normal, embarrassment was okay; but the guilt from showing that you love someone, that wasn't normal. And, the smuts early on with the people in the comments often describing the difference between consent and forcefulness was actually very crucial because no one taught me that, now I'm 18 and I know the things I need to know because of this very reason. I am, by no means, speaking in favor of kids reading smut, but I was stating the realty. And, my experience since you mentioned me saying this. There is genuinely one thing I believe, and that is a handful of numbers can NOT define emotional maturity. Be it 15, 18, 25 or whatever. The experiences one went through and what they took from that as a lesson does. I hope I made myself clear for where I stand.
alright so i didn't mean to offend u personally it was just really off putting the way u mentioned 7yos reading heavy smut because yeah people mature at different ages i agree with u on that, but nowadays the reason why kids read things they shouldnt isnt bc theyre mature already but bc of free access to the internet and from my experience a lot of those who find what they shouldn't are just unsupervised kids who can't distinguish what's good and not and just end up supporting wtv shit they read or see. im happy to hear it actually helped u but realistically(and from personal experience with 10-13yos i got to know) kids dont read smut bc they're mature but bc their parents don't gaf of what their kid is doing on the internet
Nah, I ain't offended in the slightest. I just realized I had put it way too vaguely out there that it was meant to be misunderstood. So I just wanted to give more context. In fact, I know what you meant when you said kids, but I also firmly believe that numbers really doesn't matters in case of maturity, some sort of surveillance or smth should be there, cause...I did saw kids, yeah, 7 and 8 year olds proudly announcing their age(which is absolutely crazy) so...I don't know what will happen to them, hopefully they also understand the actions based on the feelings put behind them rather than just the fwop fwop
I lowkey feel pissed like, the context that Yin; feminine, NEGATIVE(??) and Yang; Masculine, warm(???). TF, AND THAT OLD MAN ALSO IS COVERED IN NEGATIVITY CAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS A OLD WOMAN.
(Yes, I'm very petty. Yes, I just did what pissed me off in the first place and yes, I DON'T regret it, cause you know my intent was not what pissed me off in the first place. Thank you.)
But it's kinda sad though, how their happy ending is still them hiding their relation from everyone. Even if they are being "professional", why and how is loving someone even considered unprofessional in the first place? And lowkey it's probably worse for real idols or celebrities. But, come on, this is fiction, can't they announce it to the world and be happy with who they love T_T, hope they do something like that in the side stories, amazing work both author and illustrator
First of all, I can't appreciate the art enough, no one was twinkified or build like a double door frigde. I loved how it was more focused on the two characters as an individual and not the "helpless bottom" and "cold top"(even though, in their case, it's too unlikely for that to happen, I loved the artist again>_<). Body proportions remained consistent throughout the manhwa, just love it!!!

"It's not like drawing lines on a pumpkin will make it a watermelon" PFFF-
