im so happy for my boys, its sad that everyone has forgotten them but im glad that they can now go and live their own life and feel free to be their real selves, what an amazing story about self acceptance. its so bittersweet though, because even yoshikis own family forgot him, the panel with his mother feeling like shes forgetting something extremely important broke my heart. but i am still really happy to see everyone else like tanaka, rie, asako, and the others are doing well
i love how ‘hikaru’ has his own name now, natsuki, to signify how hes developed his own identity and is becoming his own person. the name natsuki can be interpreted as ‘summer hope’, which is so sweet because of how he brought hope to yoshiki during the summer. i mean weve been calling the series hikanatsu this whole time so you could call it foreshadowing lol
i like how yoshiki was able to get his closure from hikaru and now him and natsuki can move on from the past. all the pages of yoshiki laughing are so precious, hes so happy now compared to how depressed he was near the start of this series.
since natsuki gave yoshiki his other half, they both make up two halves that complete each other. when natsuki says he has his soul right there, referring to yoshiki, hes saying theyre soulmates awww
this was a really nice ending. sobbing because its over but im so glad the characters got to have a happy ending. this series changed my life and i feel so fortunate to have been with it to the very end. im really excited for the bonus chapter and the final volume cover, i cant wait to see my boys go to the bakery together (≧▽≦)
since his name is natsuki now, are we calling it yoshinatsu?
