Like bro, he just got through the door and he already got pushed out of it.

well… after this they go a month or two without contacting each other and mc only gets updates about ml through social media and the ceo. ml’s basically forcing himself to go to social gatherings with his coworkers to make himself worthy of reaching out to mc (in this chapter mc mentioned that ml could reach out to him after he fixes himself and until >> “i’m not the only one for you”). ml gets into an accident during filming and the ceo secretly calls mc to ask him if he can go and check up on ml, when he gets there he overhears ml speaking to the ceo. ml’s saying that he doesn’t want to meet mc in his current state because he isn’t done improving himself yet; basically he wants to be worthy of the mc.

after that mc becomes his manager again because they received an offer to become a permanent member of the manager show that they did in the past (ceo tells mc that he hasn’t been able to process mc’s resignation bcs of all the work he had to do, cleaning up after the ml). mc agrees on the condition that he resigns immediately after he’s done his part in the show.

during the time he becomes ml’s manager again there’s still a lot of misunderstandings because mc doesn’t want the ml to know about his feelings, but they don’t get into heated arguments like they did before. ml becomes very docile and most of the time he doesn’t want to upset the mc. there’s still moments of frustration but he isn’t an ass like he was in the beginning.

(there’s a lot more that happens during the filming and with the coworkers but i’m gonna skip this and spoil the confession part because those events are too lengthy to explain)

the confession scene is much later in the novel so i expect that it’s gonna be leaning towards the end of the manhwa. ml overhears mc’s conversation with a girl who has a crush on him (mc helped her before during filming).ml had stepped out of the room to give the two their privacy. when they get into the car, mc wonders why ml’s being so quiet so he asks him what’s bothering him. ml admits to mc in their ride that he had overheard their conversation. something about what the girl said made ml reflect if it was really right to force mc to be his manager even though mc didn’t want to anymore. he confesses to the mc that he liked him which is why he doesn’t want to keep making him do something that’s against his will.

this is where mc goes on full denial mode because he’s convinced that ml’s just rashly labeling his feelings and that he’s mistaking companionship as love. he even tells ml: “you don’t really like me, you’re mistaken.” or something along those lines. ml gets irritated and they go silent mode at each other. even in filming the manager show there’s a very obvious cold shoulder between them so mc breaks their silence and tells ml to at least act like they get along. ml gets irritated at his indifference to the situation and to mc deciding his feelings for him. he gets payback during the next day of their filming where he becomes very touchy with the mc. making the story short there’s a part there where they become too close that even ml becomes visibly flustered. mc sees this and reconsiders his initial thought of ml not actually having feelings for him.

on their ride home ml pokes fun at mc knowing that there’s a camera installed in the van. he deliberately asks mc to have a drink and sleep at his house, and he tells mc that he could wear his pajamas just in case to make mc flustered but mc responds by saying yes which shocks ml. after they get home and the film crew leaves, ml is waiting for the mc to go home as he usually does, but mc insists that he sleeps over—telling ml “you said all that earlier, didn’t you?” (something along those lines.

they have a drink with the wine the idol (i forgot his name) gave them and it turns into a heartfelt conversation about their true feelings. mc tells ml that he now believes his feelings are genuine, but he knows that the ml doesn’t know about how to proceed after that. apart from him being in showbiz, ml is also a germaphobe that had just recently realized that he was capable of liking a man, so mc is anxious if ml’s even willing to commit to his feelings. he tells ml that he wouldn’t even be able to kiss the mc let alone do other things. ml kisses him after that to prove his feelings. the second time, ml initiates a kiss but he tells the mc to push him away if he doesn’t want to accept him. mc doesn’t resist; he puts his arms over ml’s neck to pull him in to the kiss. after they pull away from each other ml says: “since when? since when has that bastard been me?” he realized that the mc’s crush he always pertained to as a bastard had been him all along.

then they do a handjob and start dating mwehehe. the funny thing is after that mc tries to blame the kiss on the alcohol but ml laughs at him and tells him that the wine was non-alcoholic. he was pretending to be drunk to trick mc into talking.
