i hope no one is sticking around for an eventual "plot". (Every update I scroll thru some interesting comments that make me doubt this)
Like lots of comics, the beginning is a little aimless as the writer tries to figure things out, but eventually something sticks and bam you get a series. Clearly, the plot is not what stuck (Jian yi confessing like ~150ch lol)
That being said, the arcs that happen occasionally are so much stronger, I hope we get some more soon. We all remember the camping trip like it was yesterday it seems... srsly so gud
Jian yi/zhan xixi screen time is progress guys wym, this is what we signed up for
glad to see our og pair appear a little more regularly, its been a while
We got a little hand touching <100ch ago I think, dont get overzealous you'll jinx it
WTF
Ok yeah, don't read if you won't like the "stiffness" from the characters and/or you don't like debt/contract relationship. MC cries and ML is cold (not a turn off for me lmao; happens a lot from what I've read).
I don't think it's fair to judge based off of like facial expressions lol, but I understand if you have preferences. This story is not new, but the pacing + dialog keeps it interesting (except for a part in s3 where I thought it dragged a bit).
Story beats are textbook but the art definitely excels! I value nuanced portrayals of characters more than above all because I need to feel something after reading BL for however many years atp. I've read enough stories that bore me to death with subpar or outright inaccurate artwork, so this was a pleasant addition to the catalog.
The artwork improves a bit and seeing the later chapters inspires me to draw, if that's what you're looking for (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
