Yes it is perfectly fine and normal, your own religion shouldn't stop you from liking who ever you wanna like. Just do what you want and be yourself who ever says otherwise is wrong. no, it's not okay, simple fact. However, you shouldn't get drunk or cheat on your spouse either. it's a sin according to the bible but people sin and God still loves them, that's how life is.

To be honest, I believe that God loves as for what we are. As long as we are good people. Afterall, the greatest commandment is Love Thy Neighbor. Most of the judgemental people out there are religious extremists claiming that only God can judge us but they’re already doing it anyway.

I for one am also a catholic, I've had the same thoughts about my sexuality and how religious people especially my relatives badly insinuated how it is not okay but I've already come to terms with it. i realized that first, there is no one in this world that needs to accept it other than you, yourself. embrace being different, just because other people shunned the idea does not mean that everyone also does. there are or will be people that wholly accept you, if not your family nor friends then there are people online that experienced the same and supports you which leads us to second, you don't have to tell everyone what your sexuality is, you have the right to choose the people you truly trust about it, not because you're ashamed but just wary of the surrounding people, not everyone is okay in discussing this. third, your sexuality DOES NOT define you, it is PART of YOU but never represent the whole you, do not let others influence what you feel just because of their prejudices.

LOVE IS LOVE, we should spread positivity more than hate. I understand that most catholic do not agree, don't claim to be a follower of Christ if all you do is spread malicious comments on others' sexuality. it does not concern you, they probably beat themselves up for it and you don't have to add salt to the wound by harassing people because of it. !!!respect begets respect!!!

honestly it depends. Religion is just a bunch of beliefs put down in a book. For the most part, ppl pick and choose what to follow.
Christians who put moral character and ethics before all else and understand there's nothing wrong with being lgbtq- but then there's the ones who think the book was written by god himself or some shit & follow it word for word despite it having been altered and re-translated like 50 times :)

you don't have to rush dear, just take your time in figuring it out. trust me I know a lot of people that found out they're actually gay/les/other after meeting a therapist because note that being gay/les/other is not a sickness that can be cured through therapy. therapies help and guide you in knowing yourself more which includes you finding out your true sexuality ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

i dont think you have read the bible. In the book of genesis there was a part where is spoke about Sodom and Gomorrah. God killed all of them because of their sin and especially because of there homosexuality. What im trying to say is that you are free to do what you want and you arent forced to be catholic or christian.

That is up for you to decide. What I can tell you is that no matter what's in or not in the Bible, or what Jesus said or not said, Catholic religion and teaching does not approve homosexuality. That is just a cold hard fact. Some people who are Catholics might accept it but the religion itself isn't.
