So I'll do my best to explain
MC was in love with his sunbae and thr sunbae with him. A building collapsed (prob the school) and him, sunbae, sister and sisters friend died. Sister and sisters friend were writing a novel beofre that and the mc was reading it. They happened to transmigrate in that novel and were all independenty getting their memories back. The sister is now reincarnated as the MCs brother and the sunbae as the thug guy who is now his bf. MC has serious health issues bc his memories and flashbacks cause his seizures and stuff like that. When he was kidnapped it seemed like the sunbae got all his memories back. But the MC lost all of his current life memories and only has bits and pieces from his last life before the building collapse and is refusing the thug-reincarnated-sunbae bc he doesn't remember sunbae's face so he doesn't know it's the same guy. And even now during the fever he was confused and thought he dreamed about sunbae while using the thugs face. And that's it basically he just has to navigate his memories while trying not to die from panic attacks and stuff that could break him mentally ehich is ehy he is being heavily medicated
Okay in the beginning; I really did not get anything about this story, it was confusing, very violent and almost giving gore p0rn or something.
After reading the whole story, I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. A LOT more than Pearl Boy actually, it was a lot more compelling and entertaining.
I genuinely love the characters and feel a lot for them. They are extremely flawed but even with their pasts they were able to find eachother and make eachother more human again.
There are moments I noticed that I hadn’t before, like Yuta putting on the perfume when Seunghyun would visit him and then Seunghyun throwing away all the colognes that yuta had.
Or just how Seunghyun was the first to fall, but also the first to run. It was away until he was able to face reality and Yuta also being too proud to admit his own feelings or others.
I really wished we could see more of their new life together but yes over all I would recommend it.
But keep in mind that it is a dark story and to take the trigger warnings seriously.
