I feel like this could go where Mc gets really hurt or get amnesia but I hope it doesn't because I don't think that'll make sense since the ml sees Mc as a druggie lunatic and only cares for his own reputation. I feel like the best pain for ml is mc getting engaged to someone else and ml realizing he likes mc after hearing that news.
