In my view, I do believe the original Hikaru loved Yoshiki. Remember, in the flashback, his father tells the young Hikaru that if he loves a girl, he must marry her immediately to protect her; the boy thinks of Yoshiki—he wanted to protect him, too, but since they were both boys, that wasn't an option. There’s another memory where Hikaru remarks on Yoshiki’s handsome face and gently strokes his cheek and bangs. In his final moments, Hikaru’s thoughts were on Yoshiki because he didn't want to leave him. There were other micro-gestures, glances, and actions from the original Hikaru, too. However, I noticed this side of him fading as we saw glimpses of the original Hikaru making homophobic jokes and showing interest in that girl, Saitou-san—who looks like a female version of Yoshiki lol. I mean, just because the original Hikaru had flaws or wasn't overtly romantic toward Yoshiki—unlike the "monster" Hikaru—doesn't mean they couldn't have loved each other if circumstances had been different. Yoshiki also struggled with intense internalized homophobia; his character arc centered on feeling free to be himself and embrace his sexuality. So, it’s good that Yoshiki let go of his feelings for the original Hikaru, he has already mourned his lifelong friend, but was that conversation based merely on Yoshiki's own idea of og Hikaru? Or was he actually speaking to the real Hikaru's soul? Otherwise, Yoshiki was just talking to his own thoughts and reflection u.u
We all knew here that the happy ending is you staying with your monster!
I thought Yoshiki was going to die for real, what a jumpscare
I dread the day Garam runs into Heejae—maybe catching him off guard and seeing him looking the way he does—because Garam looks unwell... I’m worried he might lash out with a really nasty comment right then and there, since the idealization and obsession he held onto for so long might have finally shattered?¿ Idk
the best thing about my fcking 2026 is this manhwa, not even joking lad
I have to say that when it ends, I’m going to feel a deep sense of nostalgia—a mix of relief and emptiness. Yoshiki’s process made me cry all the way, and that’s the kind of thing that makes a story stay with me. The art gave me chills—both from fear and from sheer admiration. It’s really hard when a manga I adore comes to an end; I don't quite know how to put it into words, but for me, it has everything.
Woojon is so sweet, don't hate him it's just that he's fucking head over heels—or what is this? He's yearning everyday now
I like the ex and the new characters, but I thought the WLW gurls would play a bigger role alongside the MC; it seems like they've become kinda irrelevant now? :"p
Whooo cares about the graduation? The least that gyeom deserved was to get his face broken and be put in his place for once in his life. Don't limit youth rage.
I just can't get over the fact that he left Baekhee lying there with cum on his face—it's degrading. And on top of that, Ilwoo, his beloved, sees him like that... I repeat, I hate the emphasis on the cum on his face!!!! I mean, even if Ilwoo wanted to treat him gently, I’d totally understand if Baekhee was just too fcking overwhelmed by everything.
It makes sense that Garam fell into a depression, given that he always appeared to be the sensitive one in the relationship; so sad, he was the one who ended up "shattered," while I assume the old man simply moved on with his life and career, steady and "composed". Garam's heart, his trust, and his passion were completely destroyed wtf.
Community dih? Not to b rude, but Woojon should check if he caught an STD at this point lol
